Unfortunately, due to the current thickness of ice on Lake Scugog and the above normal temperatures, we have made the decision to cancel the Tournament.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who signed up to join us on the ice, and our amazing sponsors and partners who dedicated their time and resources to make this possible.
Please continue to watch for updates concerning our next tournament. Thank you for your continued support!
Proceeds from your participation in the Pond Hockey Tournament will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham is the leading child and youth mentorship organization in North Durham. Through volunteer mentors, they help ignite the power and potential of young people. Early intervention by the Big Brothers Big Sisters team can help prevent the physical and mental effects that adverse childhood experiences can cause.
The Ontario Volunteer Emergency Response Team (OVERT) Inc. is a unique concept in community based emergency response, providing timely assistance during a major incident.
Incidents such as abductions, missing persons, natural disasters and other community emergencies have the potential to tax the resources of a primary response agency (Police, Fire, EMS, etc). It is for this reason that OVERT has been developed – to allow for easy and efficient integration of community volunteers.
Our team members are all volunteers who dedicate a significant amount of time to their training and operations. These “unpaid professionals” come from all walks of life giving of themselves for their community. All team members undergo significant ongoing training to ensure that we provide the highest level of service.
The 2023 Lake Scugog Pond Hockey Charity Tournament will be held on Lake Scugog.
You can join us at 215 Water Street in Port Perry.
Thank you for your support!
